(1) The production of the rotary dehumidifier is based on ceramic fiber paper with a temperature resistance of more than 500ºC, forming a honeycomb wheel through a molding mechanism, and then coating silica gel between the ceramic fibers. Therefore, the rotary dehumidifier does not have problems such as burning or deliquescence. It has no physical protection and environmental protection due to its high dehumidification.

(2) The rotary dehumidifier uses the silica gel coated on the rotary wheel to physically adsorb water in the air on the porous synthetic silica gel, and then in the rotary wheel regeneration area, the vapour adsorbed in the silica gel pores is heated and vaporized to the inlet of air conditioning’s coil, at this time, high temperature and high humidity air is formed. When the high temperature and high humidity air passing through the heat cooling coil, the condensate water is discharged due to different dew points. Generally, a honeycomb desiccant wheel high-performance dry and humid dehumidifier is used for the air treatment. Through continuous and repeated dilution and regeneration, dry air with low dew point can be continuously provided without affecting indoor air circulation. The driving motor of the wheel can rotate 8 to 18 times per hour. When the air passes through the treatment area, the vapour will be absorbed by the diluent material in the wheel and then transferred to the regeneration area. At this time, the air of the other side becomes a high-temperature gas after preheating, absorbs moisture and passes through the wheel, and then evaporates the moisture in the wheel, thereby restoring the normal adsorption capacity of the desiccant wheel. Meanwhile, the regeneration air is out of control after being evaporated by the rotary dehumidifier, and the wet air is discharged to the outdoor through the exhaust fan to remove moisture through direct physical adsorption treatment. Regardless of the surrounding environment, it can control the relative humidity (RH) below 1%, and can provide a dehumidification system with a standard capacity of 80m3H~42 500m3H for cooling and dehumidification.

(3) Cooling dehumidification:

consists of a compressor, cooling coil, fan, water container, casing and controller. A fan supply the wet air into the unit and pass through the cooling coil. At this time, the water in the air condenses into water droplets, the entering air become dry air and are discharged from the unit.

(4) Adsorption wheel dehumidification:

The desiccant wheel is divided into treatment area and regeneration area by the sealing system of the dehumidifier section. The desiccant wheel rotates slowly at 8-10 rpm to ensure that the entire dehumidification process is a continuous process.

(5) Advantages of rotary dehumidifiers:

The active silica gel sizing rate of the rotary dehumidifier is as high as 82%, so it has good moisture absorption capacity and can meet the dehumidification requirements of most application fields. It has good dehumidification ability in low humidity, high temperature or alkaline environment, and can be used in the field of dehumidification with low dew point temperature. The PPH lithium chloride wheel contains 81% active silica gel, 2% lithium chloride and around 0.1% antibacterial additives. It is especially suitable for applications with strict antimicrobial requirements. The moisture absorption rate in wet environment can reach about 40% of its dry weight. The wheel can run reliably at any high relative humidity, provided that water droplets do not directly enter the wheel during operation.

(6) Regeneration of the desiccant wheel:

During the moisture absorption process, the desiccant wheel gradually loses its moisture absorption capacity with the increase of adsorbed water. In order to maintain a constant moisture absorption capacity, the wheel needs to be regenerated. Therefore, driven by the driving motor, the saturated wheel slowly enters the regeneration area for regeneration and reduction. The regeneration air heated to 100-140 ºC enters the regeneration area in the opposite direction to the treatment air, absorbing the water of the wheel, and is carried away by the regeneration air and discharged to the outdoor. The desiccant wheel restores the moisture absorption capacity, and is driven by the driving motor to transfer to the treatment area, to reabsorb the moisture in the treatment air. The wheel rotates continuously, the dehumidification and regeneration process is continuously carried out, and the constant humidity dry air is continuously supplied.
