BTW - I been gunna ask this for a coons age and keep forgetting, but;On "that" Index ad ... you guys know the one - where the are advertising their four turret lathe?The ad reads:"Four tools in the cut - at one time - on the same spindle"Yet the pic shows three tools on one spindle and one on the sub....I have been running sub spindle lathes for 10 yrs. Twin turret sub lathes for 5. I have no idea how they'd go aboot git'n four turrets on the same part at the same time? Aparently neither has the engineers in Hamburg, but it's painfully obvious that the President of Sales USA for Index hasn't gotten the memo that his caption didn't fit the pic. LOL!An outfit a half hr north of here had a cpl of Nakamurras like that. Boy - you'd hafta have JUST the right part - and a LOT of them to even think aboot justifying that BS! Shirely NOT a "Job Shop" machine! Good greif - twins have enough issues with making sure not to git in each others way - kan you imagine four? Three could be of more use IMO, but four is nothing short of bragging rights!----------------Out of my Brain on the 5:15!Ox
