Open the release valve by turning it anti-clockwise no more than one turn.
Remove the filler plug from the back of the jack.
Insert the jack handle into the socket and pump rapidly several times to force the air out.
Tightly close the release valve by turning it clockwise. Replace the filler plug.
Repeat this process if the jack still does not fuction correctly.
