So far so good. I only saw some of the bad reviews after buying and trying this. I can say that so far my bags are holding up well. Been doing a lot of outdoor cooking so we dont heat up the house any more than necessary on hot and humid days.
I was getting tired of having my vegetables (and occasional fruit) fall apart or fall through grill grates. I dont care for silicone grill mats. I wanted something that will allow the flame to lick through. I was about to buy a steel basket when I saw these bags. Instantly intrigued! I grabbed them on a whim, and I glad I did. The reason I like them so much is because I can FLIP MY VEGGIES with ease.
Be sure to coat the bags with some oil. And so far I have only used medium to medium high heat. Not scorching flame. This is more off to the side as I use the higher heat and flame to take care of thicker proteins. So maybe just be mindful of that. I find these are making my life easier. I can do tomatoes, zucchini, asparagus, onions, green peppers, peaches, apples, nectarines, pineapple, oh and sliced potatoes with ease. I slide them in, snap the bags closed, toss on grill, turn a few times while they cook.
I have used it on Propane grill and a charcoal grill. No problems with structural integrity, yay!
