ASTM A53 pipe,A standard specification for pipe, steel, black and hot dipped, zinc-coated, welded and seamless.used for mechanical 

and pressure applications as well as ordinary uses in steam, water, gas and air lines.ASTM A53 can be formed and welded and nominal 

pipe diameter with a scheduled wall thickness (4 inch Schedule 40 pipe).

ASTM A53 pipe comes in three types(E,F,S)and two grades(A,B).

A53 Type F, which is longitudinally furnace butt welded or continuous welded (Grade A only)

A53 Type E, which is longitudinally electric resistance welded (Grades A and B)

A53 Type S, which is seamless pipe, produced by hot working, and possibly cold finishing, the steel (Grades A and B). 

Carbon steel grade S, E or F depends on the mix of elements and the manufacturing process - seamless or welded.

APPLICATIONS:

ASTM A53 type S pipe is intended for mechanical and pressure applications and is also acceptable for ordinary 

uses in steam, water, gas and air lines.

(1)Seamless steel line pipe transporte oil & gas in petroleum industry

(2) Convey high temperature fluid in the fertilizer machine

(3) Boiler pipe, including over-heat pipe, boiling water pipe, locomotive smoke pipe (big & small)

(4) Heat-exchange pipe for refinery
