In March 2022, PEI (Paul-Ehrlich-Institute) has published the result of "Sensitivity of Antigen Tests to the Omicron Variant". It shows that YHLO rapid antigen test product is NOT affected by omicron variant.
In order to evaluate the sensitivity of Antigen Tests to the Omicron Variant, PEI tests 428 antigen reagents, which was listed on the BfArM official site. From the review of the PEI, 385 of these were marked "Yes", i.e. no loss of performance of the antigen rapid test for the SARS-CoV-2 omicron variant, and the antibody binding of the test in question is NOT affected by omicron-specific amino acid changes of the nucleocapsid protein.
