Dear Service Engineer, It is well known fact that instrumentation which is well taken care of will out perform and out last than which is not. The Mindray BS-200 Automatic Chemistry Analyzer is no exception to this rule. Chemistry systems that are well taken care of by their users and service personnel will have many fewer problems than those which are not. Fewer problems mean fewer service calls, and happier customers. The preventive maintenance (PM) manual is offered as a standard guide to follow. You will find that, depending on the quality of care which an instrument receives, 12 months preventive maintenance visits will require varying degrees of thoroughness. The important point here is that the reliability of the Mindray BS-200 is somewhat dependant on the quality and quantity of attention it receives during its 12 months preventive maintenance visit. The service engineer has a substantial amount of influence on the call rate of each system. Taking a little extra time to educate users as to the proper way of caring for an instrument will, on most cases, increase the instruments reliability, and the customer’s satisfaction. This manual is intended for use only by Service Engineers who are trained by Mindray and do not replace or reduce the operator maintenance recommended in the BS-200 Operator’s Manual. Unauthorized use of these procedures can damage the analyzer and void the warranty of contract. The PM kit contains the parts needed for the preventive maintenance. Other parts can be replaced at additional cost. If you have any questions or suggestions, please email us at

Sincerely, Mindray Service Team
