Poled PVDF piezoelectric film with 8 um thickness. Uniaxially oriented with high d31 >25 pC/N. d33 is higher than 18 pC/N and modulus is >2.0 GPa.
With 30 nm thick sputtered aluminium electrode produced in roll-to-roll process. The adhesion of the electrode to PVDF is very strong.
The ultrathin electrode provides additional reliability in long-term operation.
One sheet with size is 100 mm x 100 mm or 200 mm x 280 mm size
The aluminium can also be etched with dilute KOH water solution (or NaOH or HCl or vinegar) for producing sensors in university lab.
You can easily cut the film with scissors or razor blade, though you may need to clean the cutting edges with NaOH/KOH/HCl to remove the aluminum along the edges to avoid short circuit. You can also use ultrafast UV laser to ablate the thin aluminum electrode without damaging the PVDF film.
