Whereas , an AQL rating of 0.65 indicates that a stricter quality control process was carried out and less than 0.65% of the gloves in a batch have defects. An AQL rating of 4.0 shows that a less stringent quality control process was carried out and less than 4.0% of the gloves in a batch have defects.
The lower the AQL rating means less defects are found in the batch of gloves tested. E.g. a set of gloves with an AQL of 1.5 would be more rigorously tested than an AQL of 4.0.Therefore, the glove wearer has more personal protection with a lower AQL rating.
