SPIDER CONCRETE PLACERS 16-22M

SPIDER CONCRETE PLACERS

18-3 The ORIGINAL. Over 20 years of

experience and innovation have resulted in the most advanced, non-tracked Spider available anywhere. Strength, durability, and smart design from the industry leader. 16Z The champion for indoor pours. A user- friendly, low-ceiling clearance height, combined with pinpoint track maneuverability, and a reach that matches 20m boom trucks make this model a fan favorite since its North American introduction in . 18RZ Tight jobsites, no problem. In addition to its long 4-arm reach, the RZ has the optimized boom configurability to place the mix everywhere around the machine with just one set-up. No dead zones within its slewing reach means you get maximized boom coverage every time. This workhorse of the product line has also become the most popular model since its introduction. 22Z Our extended offering provides the longest possible boom for a crawler Spider available. Excellent for large slab work, or as a less expensive and non- invasive replacement for traditional tower-mounted placing booms.

18-3 SPIDER CONCRETE PLACERS

The 18-3 is a cost-effective and low-impact alternative to tower-mounted placer booms. Unlike its large-scale cousins, the compact 18-3 spider offers versatility and low jobsite impact with the same productivity. Low Jobsite Impact: Using the 18-3 does not require holes in multiple floors to be designed, built, and filled in to make room for the tower boom. The Spider’s minimized weight and loading allow for minimal shoring from underneath, and the more compact unit presents minimal risk to the tower cranes above.

Low Overall Weight: The crane capacity and shoring requirements are drastically decreased due to the low overall unit weight.

Fast Installation: The Spider unit requires minimal site preparation prior to placement and can be relocated easily by fly-complete crane placement.

Low Budget Impact: Same boom design concepts performing the same functions for a fraction of the capital outlay and costs associated with set- up, operations, and maintenance.

16Z SPIDER CONCRETE PLACERS

The 16Z is a cost-effective solution for all low-ceiling, indoor concrete placements. The low 13 ′ 1” opening height allows for operation all the way into most commercial and warehouse pours. The maneuverability of the track unit combined with the small outrigger profile allows for customer machine setups to match the jobsite dimensions, resulting in the maximum coverage possible. The Euro STAGE V, 74 HP Perkins engine with flow-through DPF allows this track unit to work indoors without inconvenient emissions service intervals. For non-flat applications, the Perkins can power the unit up to 46% grade (25°) terrains and adjust for unlevel conditions up to 20 degrees. This tracked unit is also great for mobility on mat pours where a crane is not always available. The 16Z has the flexibility to quickly transform into a stand-alone placing unit with the removal of 4 pins. In non-tracked applications like high-rise pours, the unit is lifted into place, and powered by either an engine (Honda gas or Perkins diesel) or electric motor (480V 60Hz 3P 20A). The 4-arm Z- fold articulation pattern supplies great placement versatility in a compact and lightweight package.

I was truly surprised how smooth the Spider was. There were no limitations to pumping through it. It could handle whatever speed we wanted to pump through with little to no bounce and an overall very smooth boom. This is a piece of equipment we truly should’ve bought sooner!

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT

Concrete Strategies, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, has been a partner with Con Forms for over 10 years. When they needed to add some versatility to their pumping equipment, Fleet Manager John Tinnin reached out to CF’s Jim Bodeker. They collaborated to determine what would be the best fit based on their existing capabilities and their future project needs. The Con Forms 18-3 Spider was chosen as the best option for versatility and value. In September , Concrete Strategies quickly put their new Spider to work on the Vande East Apartments project, a 14-story residential/commercial development in St Louis’ City Foundry district. “We utilized the Spider on this shorter high-rise due to limited areas to set up a pump. It only took us 20 mins to move it and set up again to continue pouring. The fact that it can be lifted in two pieces (boom and counterweight) came in handy, since one end of the pour we had weight limitations on the crane.” Mr. Tinnin noted via . John continued, “With the type of floor we had we only needed to brace the level underneath the Spider, so there wasn’t much extra work at all to use it. The Spider Placer is a nice alternative to a high-rise system on these shorter buildings. I was truly surprised how smooth the Spider was. There were no limitations to pumping through it. It could handle whatever speed we wanted to pump through with little to no bounce and an overall very smooth boom. This is a piece of equipment we truly should’ve bought sooner! We have learned through the years that Con Forms has the highest quality pumping accessories such as pipe, hoses, clamps, and even wash out balls. We have tried cheaper alternatives and have had clamps fail, ends come off hoses, and even pipe that the ends were not welded correctly.” The Con Forms team is always thrilled to see our equipment in action; building the infrastructure that helps our communities grow and succeed.

Self-Climbing Concrete Placing Boom HGB33 - Okorder.com

Product Description:

The placing boom has a Z-shaped boom assembly with three foldable sections, which can swing through 360 degrees while luffing, folding/unfolding, thus allowing it to place concrete to form walls, pipes, columns, piles and other vertical structures without confined placement areas.

The boom assembly’s luffing; folding/unfolding and swinging are carried out hydraulically with buttons. The hydraulic and electrical system feature overload protectors, flow controls, alarms, phase sequence protectors and so on, which ensures the placing boom to have reliable performance, easy and smooth operation, and high safety.

Scope of Application of the Equipment

The HG33A concrete placing boom is a concrete placer for combined use with a concrete pump in concrete placement operations. It can be widely used in the construction of various types of concrete structures like industrial and civil buildings, bridges, roads, and other types of infrastructure.

This equipment can only be used in concrete construction operations, but not in any other operations, like dragging, moving, or hoisting heavy articles or personnel. The equipment is also not allowed to be used in any location where any combustible or explosive material exists or a cave-in may occur.

Transport

Because of the structure of this machine is huge, it needs pay special attention to give the arm adequate stability during the journey. The parts that over-long or over-width need disposal depend on national traffic law. The safety hook should be put up .The arm assembly must be supported by its forward end on a support trestle of adequate load-bearing capacity. In order to avoid oil pipe from extrusion, crosstie under the arms is needed.

In order to transporting conveniently, divide the machine into some big units.

FAQ:

Q1: How to Erection and Dismantling Placing Boom?

A1: Have the concrete foundation on which the cruciform base is to be erected prepared in accordance with the requirements. Ensure the verticality of the centerline of the cruciform base and level surface less than 1/500. Prepare a private power supply box for concrete placing boom at the worksite. Connect the power supply box with transformer station of the worksite directly using cable.

A2: The workers who erect or dismantle the equipment must be skilled, familiar with the performance and features of the equipment, and have ability to deal with fault. During erecting or dismantling, all workmen must obey the director's command.

Work off the court neatly, and enclose it with flag-bar, forbid other people come in. Adopting valid precaution prevent workmen from being hurt by falling block. The workmen must wear safety helmet and safety shoes, tie safety belt according to the demand of working at high place. In big thunderstorm, heavy snow, thick fog and the wind speed over 7.9m/s (wind force up to 4) conditions, erecting and dismantling are forbidden.

Before working, check the equipment carefully to clear all the hidden trouble.

Q3: How soon can we receive the product after purchase?

A3: Within three days of placing an order, we will begin production. The specific shipping date is dependent upon international and government factors, but is typically 10 to 30 workdays.

Q4: If we can produce some Concrete Placing Boom according to customers request?
