Recently got the ACT Heavy Duty Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit and installed it over 3 days. If you've seen my other posts on it you'll know it was a pain to put it on. But! I'm not here to complain about the process, here's a review of the product itself and how its been so far for me. Hope you like it!

The kit comes with a pressure plate, clutch disc, flywheel, alignment key, and a new throw-out bearing assembly. Please remember to grab yourself a new set of flywheel bolts as they do not include it!

The pros:

-Engagement is softer and smoother than the stock one, you may want to get a new clutch pedal spring to help with this.

-No more clunk sound going into 2nd and 3rd gear when you let go of the pedal to engage the gear.

-Pedal feel is same / a slight bit softer than OE.

-It's rated for 445 ft-lbs of torque so maxing the boost on stock turbo will be no issue on burning the clutch.

-Flywheel is 10 pounds, a lot lighter than the OE dual mass, I get better gas mileage now as well as better RPM feel.

-It's yellow, though you don't get to see it everyday.

The cons:

-You'll now have to live with audible clutch spring rattle at idle, you can hear it with windows open and closed.

-There is also clutch spring sound when driving below 2.5k RPM.

What to know:

-You have to be more deliberate with clutch engagement from stop to go, since the feeling is more muted if you ease in from stop to go slowly you'll feel it slip a little before going.

-Same thing for reverse.
